Description
I have had this car since 2000 when I bought it new from the dealership. It did not take long before the modding started - rims, stereo, kit, turbo, leathers. 10 years down the track, I still have the car and it is still getting things done to it. More recently it has had a full engine and gearbox rebuild, bigger turbo, new exhaust etc. Even more recent, it has had it an orange respray, new rims/rubber.
All the work (with the exception of dyno tuning, leather retrim) has been done by my dad (old school engineer) and I, in the back corner of my dad's engineering workshop - fabrication, not automotive. So it is truly 'built, not bought' in every sense of the meaning.
It has been my daily, up until the last three years where it spent about 28 of those months off the road. It will now return to daily duties since most of the major work has been done. Having said that, there are still a few things around the corner yet.
