okay well im going to be doing a turbo build on my 2007 Lancer ES 2.4L 4G69 engine.. using evo 7/8/9 parts, as most things are bolt on (apparently the 4G63 and 4G69 use the same block just a different head)
Parts going to be used:
stock evo 8/9 16 turbo (internal wastegate)
4G69 flange (probs from RRM)
stainless manifold (cut and reweld flange) - bought
stainless 3" downpipe - bought
stainless o2 housing/dump pipe - bought
stainless 3" high flow cat - bought
small universal intercooler
evo 7-9 intercooler piping and short ram intake
evo7-9 adjustable wastegate actuator (5-10PSI spring)
bigger fuel pump (maybe pressure regulator aswell)

budget for these parts total will be around the $1500 mark.

now the injectors and map sensors etc will depend on how i get it tuned, being in perth i have the advantage of RPW being on my doorstep so if its affordable i will either be going with there reflash or piggyback.. standalone ems if i have no other choice. if all that either costs too much or is just out of the question il buy a used RRM piggyback and 5th injector set up from the guy on evolutionm.net

this is where the cost jumps up.
an estimate cost for it to be installed/flashed and dyno tuned is around the $1500 mark

looking to come in at around $3500-$4000 fully running, everything will be done DIY except tuning to keep costs down.

hey mate welcome to the club... good to see a different project going...

think it might not be as simple as you think it may be... but definately doable.
