e3 bar has arrived so i have left ute at beaters till it done as well. i will sort out ic and radiator after bar is on...

frozen boost boosts best!
cooler is here, just gotta work out how to pipe it in, looks like it will fit nicely, and the piping will run fairly easily

planning to run intake pipe out under chassis rail and put filter inside guard. thinking about boxing in the front bar so that the right corner hole supplies air only to the intake.

started plumbing and mounting intercooler, mounts nearly done, and this used to be a 3" stainless 90* elbow that is a left over from the exhaust. i wish i had jayrome skill here, but i think i have got away with it...
next to vice is the bit i cut out. shrunk the pipe from 71mm all the way down to 40mm

here it all is in situ, dummied up.
spewing that i am absolutely out of argon now, cant even tack it up. had to think about the lip for a bit, ended up laying a bit of stainless filler wire at lip and welding in place, should work ok i reckon.
a bit more gas will neaten it up

oh, front rims are on as well, now i got the left knuckle sorted and the right hub changed to 5 stud. they fit real nice, i wrapped with them. they are 17x7.5 in +40 (or +35??).
thay are very similar in clearance on the inside as the 18x7 +46, but the out side lip is 12mm (1/2") further out. the 18s used to just touch the rails at full lock, so we see how these go and might have to move the rack stops slightly to stop the rub for legal reasons

she'll be right, i will fill it up. i reckon the right hole for cai, middle for radiator and oil cooler and left hole for the w2a cooler. all ducted and sealed tight.
