W2a radiator mounted and almost plumbed.
And inter cooler hot and cold side nearly done. I love how short the piping is. Less than 1/2m all up. Hot side tapers from 35mm output from turbo to 76mm into the cooler then coldside tapers back from 76mm to 65mm to go into tb. All gradual changes and no steps. Overkill for a 93t but hopefully big enough for a 2.4

The 20a one will run the fuel pump when the ecu is on the low pump setting. I will set it to (say) 50% duty so as not to over run the fpr. This will replace the resistor box that the evo use and is a much more efficient arrangement
I will still need a ssr (solidstaterelay) to run the variable radiator fan speed.

Also what SSR are you running?
OEM EVO8 SSR works well for rad fan.
You can actually purchase a PWM controller designed to work with your radiator and independant temp sensors.
Otherwise you would use a PWM output on your ecu.

Yep, you could run off a pwm output from the ecu. I thought about a evox ecu with 2 extra pwm (mivec outputs) but it is hard to retrofit an the immobilizer is canbus and I couldnt find if I can defeat it.
I think the rear o2 heater will be a spare pwm output for me.
Im sure there is kits but im sure they are more than I want to spend.
I havent got the ssr yet. I thought about the factory one (I think it bolts on the back of the fan?) It seems lots of mitsi have it. I would like one that looks like a normal relay. Maybe from a toyota or something else?

It spat a coil and did a driver ic inside the ecu. Fixed them both now. Also couple of faults like no battery light on dash, so I used that opportunity to throw in a gti dash thats been sitting here for a while.
Also it was leaking brake fluid from rear slave cylinder so replaced that and bled all brakes for a much better pedal now.
Given it a wax and its looking shite and briney now...

My laptop with ecmlink is at work still so I cant do much other than cruise about. But thats ok, just good to have wheels again.
Gti dash is in, now I have handbrake light, alt light but fuel gauge is intermittent, grrr. It will have to come back out for a look. Also reverse lights was a loose plug on gearbox.
Was overboosting too and hitting the cut. So I put the factory boost solonoid back in and removed the hks evc3.

Sick of my bench being cluttered with these brakes for the last 18 months. ..
So got busy and this one is nearly ready for trial fit.
My99 wrx 4spots on 295mm magna rotors.
They should fit if I mill off the subaru writing. Might be a job to paint it with some left over pot belly paint in matt black.
My pet troll is rofl. A mitsi powered proton needs subaru brakes to stop it...

Caliper just touches back of wheel spokes. If I used 320mm rotors would have been fine.
Not sure what im going to do yet. Either take a bit off the caliper or maybe the back of the rims.
