Then the wheels will stick out 5mm. I think 1mm will fix it tho.
Going to press out the bent hub and swap it out and see how it looks. It clears a couple of spokes but hits some others.

Otherwise, I got a boost line into the jpipe. So the wg actuator is correct now. Just need to go log a run and see what its doing

Edit
Nah. Looking at it, 5mm spacer would fit no worries and not stick out. But I am a stickler for the hub locators.

Either way...doesnt matter. I have 4 x 5mm spacers here which suit either 4 or 5 stud.

Let me know if you want them??

Will leave it for now. Ive thrown the hubs off the bench into the corner and will think about them a bit later.
Thanks for the offer. (5stud)

Getting the ecmlink dialed in better. Cracked out a 15.3 @90mph. Was a crappy 1 run with a 2.6 60ft and I backed off at 14.7secs. But its getting better for sure, and has a bit more in it yet.

hey jack, love the build

ive got a few questions about the conversion if you dont mind answering

did you have to change the rad support to mount the lancer headlights, or you just did that for the repair

does the standard proton dash run a cable speedo

does the jumbuck have leafs rear or trailing arm

i prob have a hundred other questions but they seem to be the ones i cant find out myself by searching

so far ive bought a mock up evo 3 for parts

std fwd cc lancer with a 93t so gearbox will work i figure

comes with new bc coilovers, im hoping the jumbuck rears are similar

full fibreglass 3 kit inc bonnet

still looking out for a jumbuck, hoping to find one with a tiny bit of front damage

Lancer headlights mount up fine on the proton, but you need the fenders, bumper and bonnet to match up. The lancer radiator needs a bottom rad mount moved. I changed the rad support as the proton one was damaged.
Proton runs a cable speedo same as gsr. I think I used the proton cable on the gsr box.
Jummy has leaf rears. Its a good couple of inches wider than the front and the gsr rear. But 1jum2nv was here the other week with some gsr rear end parts and it looks doable. Other options are hilux/hiace diff or libero axle. Im considering a custom 4link rear.

What you have bought sounds ideal for your conversion. No changing kframe or anything.
I really like the jummy front end with the angel eyes headlights.

Anything else give me a yell. Wiring is a bit of a bugger but it will be ok.

Had a bit of time on ute on weekend. Pulled cluster out as the fuel gauge is blinking. Couldnt fix it so replaced the gauge with the original jummy one. I had to change the gauge face. While it was apart I fixed the speedo error. I drove on highway at 100 by the gps and pulled the speedo needle and repositioned it correctly. 100 is now correct and indicated 60 is 57.

Also stereo pooped itself. It wont power on the amps, so I messed around fixing that and fitted a zx400.1 kicker to replace the jaycar one for the subs. Still have pioneer 300 for the front splits.
Um not much else. ..

yeah planing to use the whole front, sides and rear extensions and the bonnet seems to be made well(even thou it is fibre)

i expect the sides to need some customising thou

im not dicided on the rear diff install as im more interested in this swap for the look of the early evo and the slight power increase over the 1.5 and still keeping it daily driven,

i just done a comp test today as it blows alittle smoke when you rev it, does 175 on the comp tester sound familer to you? and seams to have a metal HG

a few pics

and 1 of my old evo1 i have years back (forgive the cromies as it was 2002 or something)

Yea side skirts are a bit short. I dunno if your skirts are fibreglass but dont cut up plastic ones and someone here will swap with you. Just cut them under the door and stretch them or buy a second set and cut and shut.
Rear pods you will have to work out yourself.
You will like the fwd 93t, it can be pretty pokey.
Just change up to awd later if you want. But you need heaps more parts.
175 compression sounds good, you need to do a dry test and then a wet test and compare readings on each cylinder.
I like the evo1 front, they are less angular that the 3 bar.

you can try puting it on a proton gti and use the parts on that they handle good for what they are the body kit should fit straight up pretty easy hi comp 93 and just turbo it

and writting the whole thing off on tax is a bonus too

im still in search of a jumbuck. checking gumtree every few days but i might be able to get a wreal from a yard somewhere minus a engine so it might work out well

Look at the salvage section of Pickles and Manhiem vehicle auctions. Mine was actually a hail damaged car.
But there is often a few there.

But the ute is the go...

Satria guards and doors DO NOT bolt onto the Jumbuck, the Jumbuck guards and doors are the same as the Wira/Persona, which is the same as the CC Sedan
