hey guys, its been a while since i updated.
not alot has really happened with the car over the past year, it sat on jack stands until about oct last year.
i put a new set of plates in the twin plate, i used some tilton ones.
last time i raced the car (jan 07) we rekitted the clutch with new plates and spacers, they lasted 5 runs before slipping.
ive upped the injectors to some bosch 1600's as they only cost me 150.
had it on the dyno today for a retune with the new injectors.
boost lowered to 28psi (spring pressure) from the 29.5 it ran last time.
peak power 637.4hp/475.6kw atw
there should still be a bit more in it with some more boost.
a new ebc may be on the cards first how ever.

Nice .. was it the tilton plates you meant that started slipping?
What're you gonna do for a clutch if that's the case?
What kind of trap speeds are you rocking?
Awesome car, love it 8)

it was the quartermaster plates.
if the tiltons slip ill prob have to move up to a triple plate, the only off putting thing is the cost of the triple.
ive only been trapping in the 126mph range, im still using the evo 3.9 ratios.
i want to see how quick i can go on them before moving to the gsr 3.5 ratios even tho the car would pick up a lot more mph and prob quicker et with them but i like to be difficult

Nice, best of luck with it
Surely you should be able to find a twin to hold it - there's a mob over here in QLD that have built clutches for my mechanic (and Rob/APC too I think) .. might be something to look in to?
Is the car still street driven?

Tell me, who makes triple plates for our cars? I thought our bellhousing was too small??

the cars raely street driven these days, hoping to change that in the near future.
dont quote me i think the triple has the e4 spline so need the input shaft to suit?
they can be gotten, simon/trytnc has a triple in the mirage so it must work.

yikes!!
great stuff!
i believe the key to a good twin plate are the discs used...
what is the pressure plate rated at?

new pb today at the south island champs
9.96 @ 133mph still on the 3.9 evo ratio!!
peeled off 3 x 1.3 60 footers today out of 3 runs
launching from around 8000rpm with no launch control
no broken axels or diffs today, but on the 1st round of qualifying it destroyed 4th gear.
over all im very happy.
9.96 backed with a 10.08 and the third run was looking pretty good too until the box let go.
