I figured that I should probably throw up a members ride thread. Today is as good a day as any to start I guess.

I'll update this as I think of new stuff / come across old stuff!

We have been spending the last couple of months fitting a few new bits to my car. The only day that Troy (jetgsr) and I could work on it was Saturdays until about 4 hence the fairly long timeframe to make and fit this lot of bits! This lot of mods was done at Troy's house ( Thanks a million mate!! )

In a nutshell this is what was fitted...
Jmf Race intake manifold
S90 throttle body
ERL exhaust manifold
PTE6262 with .82 rear.
PTE 46mm wastegate
Magnus fuel rail
Modified 600 x 300 x 100mm intercooler ( fits nicely behind an uncut Jspec bar!)
New intercooler piping
New dump pipe
Battery relocated to area under the airfilter.
-12 catchcan setup fitted.

Hmmm, I think that's about it. I still need to fit the 1/2 inch fuel feed line, 044 pump and surge tank, roll cage etc etc etc!

Here are a few pics from the latest expedition into the wide world of car modification!

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

Tim, awesome!

Are you planning to build it once it goes...

I have been poking around ECMlink, and people seem to be pulling amazing ET's on stock stock engines.. i dont know how, but it's awesome.
I saw you mention in a post somewhere, that it doesn't get driven much, is it because it's too tempting, or has it just become too much of an effort to daily (easily, or close too it)

Like the pics, like the stealth. Looking forward to your new record.. and i'd like to see a log when you do it!!!

nice work. I have heard good things about that turbo. Should scream.

Since its an effort as a daily, which fuel will you be running?

What power output are you aimimg for?
EVL JOE Proton Satria 10.4@137mph
street tyred and still testing the limits of street tyres
EVL JOE Proton Satria 9.33@144mph
now with auto and still with street radials
Dad's car FTO AWD TURBO 12.05@112mph

Thanks for the kind words guys :)

Joey, it's not actually a daily so I run it on E85 from Racefuels.

The turbo is rated at 680hp but that is a conservative figure apparently.
The Evo crowd in the US love them!

Still dialing in the closed loop on it, I did give it a quick squirt at 16psi and ecmlink tells me that it is making about 310hp atws so 30+ will be FUN!

Thanks Rob :)
I figured that seeing as it has 9 second suspension that I should make the rest of it a little faster :P

I was thinking of heading out on a Saturday night tnt in a couple of weeks.
We will have to catch up at some point too mate, I want to pick your brain about Andra safety stuff like scatter shields etc!
