Hi Guys

Well the Wife gave me a choice, the Car or Her (and our new baby).

So the car has to go.

All mods below, as most of you will know the whole car has recently been overhauled by AVO TurboWorld with no expense spared.

New 2.3 stroker motor, Kelford 272 cams, intercooler piping , breather system and the list goes on.

Car currently making 339kw atw.

Includes Brand New Yokohama AD08 tires and freshly serviced.

well ive been told its the Wife (and bub) or the car.

It just got sorted, and now its got to go. That's my luck for you.

$40k drive away with 339kw atw, fresh built motor... great brakes / suspension etc.

Fingers crossed the wife sticks around.

Car has done 106xxx kms, about 7500kms on the new motor including 1500km run in.

Recently i had the car retuned and had the cam gears adjusted, the below charts show the difference adjusting the cam gears made to the setup.

I can't believe you've been made to make a choice like that! Especially with what you've been through to get the car to where it is now and how long it's taken.

What a bargain for such an animal of an EVO8 - goodluck with the sale Josh.


PS - I'd change the first picture you have in your ad, it took me about 5min of looking at it to realise your car was actually in it and for a second thought you had got your description wrong and had put your missus up for sale...

Buyers finance fell though... so back on the market.

During the dyno testing for the buyer, car made 341kw... another 2kw... car feels so much faster now

Gotta love low ballers.. one loser made me an offer sight unseen... quite low... i knew he was a low balling scum bag just wanting to get a free drive of a 300kw+ weapon.

so i called his bluff when he turned up to view the car, i said OK... $2k deposit now and pickup with full payment within 7 days... funny how quiet people go when they're called out. Never seen a guy go from cocky jerk too tail between the legs walking away embarrassed quicker.

On a serious note. Price is firm, I've decided i'll keep the car if i don't get the price im after, no point giving the car away since ive put in the money and time to get it to such a refined package.

Any serious interest is welcome, but no test rides or drives without an agreement with deposit pending passing dyno & mechanical tests.

Ive learned over the years I have way too much mechanical sympathy for drag racing

If the person who buys it gives it a go, i will of course be very interested in how it goes.
