The SRS light came on yesterday in the wifes RVR and has stayed on.
Is there anyway of fixing it or does she just have to get used to it being always on?

I'm guessing the SRS Sensor (Little box under the centre console) is faulty. This might mean your airbags aren't going to deploy in an accident.
I'd be tempted to suggest resetting your Trouble Codes on the ECU using Evoscan and seeing if that resets the light and stops anything from playing up, however it's hard to speculate.
Failing that, get an auto electrician to check it all.

Since I changed my steering wheel my SRS light has been on. Don't know why. Evoscan shows no error.

SRS = Airbag sender. So something to do with your airbag module.
