Does anybody know where I can get an evo3 halfcut for a reasonable price in Perth?
Cheers
good luck with that.......you will probably find some mechanical parts but half-cuts are almost non existent here as the cars are too old for the wreckers now. Most of the cars are bought in whole and sold as race/ rally. Try Mitsubi in malaga....expect to pay hard!! Japanese wholesale is another one.
you could also try wreckers in south aust and freight over
I have a few bits and pieces in my collection of parts.....what are you chasing?

i cant remember the guy, but he is just off orrong rd. third rd on left heading towards perth after leach highway. is an import guy, you tell him what you want, he finds it, buys, cuts it and imports it. you can get a evo3 and he will cut it in half and you get the whole car, front and rear cut.
brian or someone perthside will know who it is.
I know who you mean Jack...I was there about two weeks ago. They didnt have a half cut then...only a motor missing just about all the bolt on parts.
I was told of a three cut a while back .....4k .....I will see if I can track it down. however I think the Adelaide wreckers have more than we get.
just Personal choice but I would go for the two cut if you can get one at the right price

I've had the car for about a month and no nothing wrong with the 4g93 but I've always liked the evo 3 so that was the whole reason of getting the car was to do a full evo 3 conversion
Sell the car and buy a car that is already converted.

Been thinking about buying a race/rally evo 3 and just taking all the parts off it and putting them on mine. Deff keeping my car now as once I put the evo motor in mine I'm putting the 4g93 into the back of a mini for a drag car
Well buy a whole car as you will need the rear diff to match the EVO III ratios.

Does that sound about right for a evo 3 race/rally

why dont you just import your own e3 from japan.
Can only do this under yellow plate scheme (e.g. live in japan for 12 months).
Current projects: Mitsubishi ca5a/ce9a awd hybrid

But I'm just gonna import it as a race/rally car so don't have to wait the 12 months
