Hey fellas,

does anyone know if there are different versions of 20g compressor wheels out there? Other then those that are for evo 1-3 and evo 4+

Reason why I ask, today I've been looking at couple of my turbos, both have 20g wheels and are fairly different.
One has straight blades from the center of the wheel to the tip of the blade; and this same wheel has thicker (not much but still thicker) blades compared to the other one
that has thinner blades and differently shaped blades from center to the tip of the blade.

Please look at the pics below and let me know what you think? Which one would be better to use?

after bit of a research I've found there are two types..

only the center section is diff on this pic, shape of the blades looks the same.

EDIT: center section measures the same on both of my wheels.

I may have read your post wrong, but I don't believe Evo 1-3 came with a 20g wheel at all, think it only went to Big 16g

true, but there are 20g compressor wheels that are used as a upgrade on evo 1-3 turbos. My only confusion is that I have two types of 20g compressor wheels, both installed on evo 1-3 turbos. I thought there would be only one type.
