front lsd or not.

hey guys here are pics down the middle of my two gearboxes. can anyone tell me if either of these is an lsd?

round pin in centre means non lsd.. as in pic 2 of 2

1st pic...? no pin..? what the.. lol hehe...

faaark... cant remember what lsd inner looks like...doh, doh.. i have them... where is that pic when you need it... oh that might be because its late and glenfiddich has come to visit :)

ohh is coming to me now... lsd centres have a machined prominent step visible up the centre... so my guess is first one is lsd, what is the gearbox part number..? (is another way to tell, if from factory and not modified).

Left one is a rare GSR RS viscous LSD gearbox suited for a 3.545 rear diff ratio. Basically the Viscous LSD version of a GSR gearbox. Its also got a double synchro 2nd gear which is good.
Dont forget you need the driver's side LSD CV cup to use that box ;)

Ive attached pics showing Drivers side viscous LSD CV cup which is longer than a non LSD CV Cups.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
