Awesome event, awsome and extremely challenging circuit, especially with a car that was fighting me a bit.
Overall bloody happy with the result, especially considering the time I did would have seen me in 2nd last year.

Still a lot to do on the car to get it up to a better pace, so some more testing will take place and we will see what it can really do with
a better setup and more seat time.

When I really tried to push the tyres would overheat and it understeered a lot, the car doesnt have ACD so its pretty oldschool in
the hadling department

this vid is a little cleaner, the track had cooled down a bit by this time

looks like so much fun! Im so keen to get back out on the track asap....need to sort a couple things out (mainly an exhaust leak which developed on the way up ) and might have a crack at some DIY aero upgrades too

also where we where staying there was a guy in a tent across from us who said he was one of your mates....a gas mechanic from from melbourne, drove a statesman, drove an RX-7 in rally and loved his drinks haha small world

Not that I have seen,but there was plenty of cameras though which would be for the dvd I would say.

thats a great clip, time attack was pritty damn good, you can almost see the group i went down with on the hill on the final corner, deffiently gave me motovation.

Even with the understeer it still looks like it handles as good as it sounds... very clean and crisp

for a very minimal amount of testing we did it was ok, the main issue was with the tyres overheating.
The general balance of the car was quite good really, and in turn 1 I would prefer understeer instead of oversteer...

lol, and as reserved and modest as you are, we all know that the driver has a lot to do with it too

lol. see if I have a drive yet. There is still a lot of development to go into the car, both in setup and weight loss(car and driver on the weight loss thing)

We shared a garage with the panspeed rx7 and the japs were calling me "heavyweight"
