Eagel rods
2.3 L stroker kit
16 G big turbo
Gt pumps manifold
evo 8 injectors
walbro 255 intank fuel pump
3 inch straight tru exhaust
HKS air filter
STANDARD EVO COMPUTER WITH A MINES CHIP.
How much boost do yourl recon i can run with this set up??
Also what is the safe boost to be runing?

as above 20psi should be quite acheivable but the best thing to do when increasing the boost considerably is to put it on a dyno.

How has the tune been modified to suit the new displacement? I'd think about that LONG before putting more boost into it on a stock ECU with random Japanese chip.
People can pluck some random numbers out of the air til the cows come home, but until you've put a wideband on it to have a look at the A/F ratios they might as well say 500psi.

Yeh its true what gsrwrc said above.. With a aftermarket ecu 20psi easy but who knows wots done to that chip... Go get it dyno'd to see so your safe...

It depends entirely on how aggressive that chip is. Its likely pig rich with lots of timing.
A lot of chips also have "octane reset" every time the car is started so the ecu is prevent from 'learning" with the amount of knock, it isn't able to move towards the low octane table from the high one if there is a lot of knock often, so you will keep the aggressive tune rather than the ecu being able to learn if the tun is way to aggressive for the air your flowing.
You need to data log how much timing retard ( in degrees or "counts". 3 "counts" = 1 degree of timing retard due to knock).
Wind it up till you see knock.

2.3 with BIG 16G... ?? isnt that a little small for a 2.3lt?

I reckon the airflow meter will be your limiter. I wasn't able to get over 19psi on my 2.3 when i was running a A/F meter.
A big 16G on a 2.3 will very very quickly run out of puff and do nothing but circulate in its own hot air from about 3rd gear on.
High-flow it to a 20G and then you'll see some good benefits of the 2.3.
