Hey guys I been looking at some new, lightweight racing seats and am either going to go for the kevlar/carbon Recaro Profi SPA:
Or the 2/3 of the price of the Recaro, Bride Zeta III:
Now, here comes the issue. For those that know me, i'm a reasonably large kind of guy, 6"1, 95kg, size 38. I know for a fact that Bride make smallish seats because I couldnt fit into my mates Bride seat very well.
Does anyone have a Bride race seat in which I could trial fit my ass into it? Or better yet, does anyone know of a shop that stock the Bride seats so I can go in there?
The last thing I need is to not fit my ass into a pair of seats I just bought.........
Any input welcome (besides telling me to loose some weight)
cheers

hey,
these are the seats that i had in my escort/ bout to put in my vr4. they are alfa (dunno why someone call there seat company after a car manufacture) and are kevlar without the steel rio. im a size 32 on a good day and i only just fit. that bride looks very similer to the alfa in size and dimensions. anyways prob didnt help but give ya a bit more of an idea.

my mate's got a bride zeta III... it's a skinny seat.. too wide for me for any more than say 30 minutes...and i'm not fat. he reckons it gets pretty uncomfortable after about an hour and a half
also keep in mind it's not ADR approved.
if it was me i'd be getting Velo GP90s... awesome seats for the money

Thanks for the comments guys....
After owning a few sets of Recaro's in my time, I know for a fact they're quality. And you pay for what you get.
I'll check out the ZETA III's anyway, so I can make my final decision

Thats right, I'd seriously consider some reclinable Recaro's again, as the EVO 2 seats I had in my VR4 were amazing, but heavy.
I'll be looking for something that weighs around the 5kg mark, not 25kg.
Dave, here's the Bride's
and the Recaro SPG in black of course
