Genuine evo 3 yellow plate with factory lsds in overall good condition.
I have plans for a spray in the near future but it just took 8 months to paint my gsr which i have to sell now so i want to get some enjoyment out this for a couple of months at least.
Interior is very tidy the only let down was the engine getting a lot of blowby so out it has come and im swapping over my 456hp vr4 into cant wait.
Ill post some more pics as its done keep an eye out for my gsr that has a fresh respray evo 3 interior and driveline plus evo 3 engine with new bottom end
It willl be going for a good price going to break my heart to sell it but i couldnt knock back a genuine 3 that can be regoed in nsw

not meaning any hate or anything but wouldnt putting a vr4 engine in a yellow plate defeat the purpose of buying a genuine?
looks quite clean too
I thought the same...

The only difference looks wise in the engine bay will be the engine mount as ill have evo 3 tappet cover.
Ill end up keeping the engine id say in case i want it back to stock in years to come and put another vr4 in the gsr to sell.

Personally I think using the VR4 engine for your intentions is better than using the 7-bolt engine which can crankwalk. Good idea to put the OEM engine aside to preserve it and let all hell loose on the 6 bolt instead
I have no doubt that you'll end up pulling some good power out of it when sorted. If you need any help along the way give me a yell.

What turb? looking good, will be interested in seeing what it makes on E85.
35/40 .82 rear
Might be restricting a bit of power can only run 3 inch from turbo where it bend down then 3.5 all the way threw
Have to get another manifold made to fit the 3.5 dump but my 6 boost manifold ive got now cost me $1200 done 300kms
Just have to see how much it chokes it if it makes 550hp ill be happy with the restriction. Made 456.4 on 21 pump so should do on 26psi

3inch will make 600whp if you dont have a restrictive muffler and the pipe work is straightish.

Thought so but couldn't understand why Rob would have sold it so soon after buying it himself!!

1. The Mrs wanted to use it as a daily driver for herself and the kids and I couldnt live with myself to watch them wreck a perfectly good OEM EVO III yellow plate (as rare as it is).
2. The Mrs lost her license within a month of getting the EVO III. Im now the only driver in a family with 4 cars therefore it didnt make sense to keep all our cars registered and insured without being driven
3. With the driver's education course the Mrs has done we have decided to look for a newer large family car again. She's keen on a 4WD as its a safer option for a daily transport for the kids/family.
4. I had been very ill during April-June and had 7 weeks off work and 4 visits to hospital. 2 as emergency and 2 for surgery. When I got out I looked at all our cars and decided that my health and family come first.
Maybe one day down the track I'll try again but at this stage we're saving for a newer car and to finish off some home renovations to move on.
I've got to sell the Nimbus and the Ralliart Magna within the next few months as well. Well, maybe I'll keep the Nimbus as it costs me fuk all to maintain and its very versatile without worrying about carrying parts in it etc.
We miss the EVO very much and it was a tug-of-war between heart and head to let it go
