the plan is to fry a set off at the first racling drift day that comes along after im finished. i've got a set of 15" rims here that my brother wants to call dibs on (he's already been given a complete car by me along with my old exhaust. damned if he's getting my tyres too!).

so stay tuned to see the little silver coupe disapear in rubber!

well exhasut got done today and i got my first drive of the coupe with turbocharged goodness. and omg i love it! 120 in second with more in it! whatched my old man give it the boot and she squated down puffed out a cloud of black and powered away.

i got my first drive after he did that leaving the exhaust shop after giving it some go gas to get home with and all i could do was .

for those on the coast jamie and the boys at right price exhausts moss street logan. did a top job. 3" from the dump back with hi flow cat and i think it's a 4" cannon (qwiver i never thought i'd like having a cannon but this one sounds mean and not much of a note difference from what was on there)

now it's time to trouble shoot the clutch. the slave cylinder is over extending causeng a hard spot in the pedal about halfway throught the travel and causeing dissengagment problembs if you push to far.

Have you checked the clutch fork isn't hitting anything inside the box and bending?
Another possibility is spacing the pivot ball out?

we've had a look at it and it's def the slave coming to far out i probably put it on the wrong side when i reassembled the the gearbox to the block does the slave cylinder body go on the gear box or block side cause atm it's on the block side.

if i do have it one the wrong side and swaping it dosn't fix it the local wreckers only asking pitlence for cc lancer boxes i might just go grab one for spares

before the conversion i got to about 90 as that was ringing it's neck and falling off the power band this thing revs higher. the old man may have been exaggerating alil but. to me she's bloody quick it successfully scared the shit out of both him and me so i'm almost posetive that the only person driving it will be me. he dosn't like my seat the motor scares him so after getting stories outa dad mum wont touch it the brothers have been told they're band from driving it till they're on their opens. although the youngest still wants to take it for a run down the strip.

as of now my power bug is satisfied and it's just the little things that will be done. asthetics etc (i feel a custom boot job comming on.

Hope you 3 guys aren't bagging out cars with audio installs.....it's been done numerous times on this forum :P

It is actually possible to have the best of both worlds, power and a boot install!!, I have half a ton of stereo gear in my boot but it is designed to be quickly removed for track days etc, seeing as the max speed limit in Tas is 110ks I figure it's great to be able to reach the limit quickly and be able to listen to a kick ass audio system at the same time

my plans are to fit a false floor that sits just far enough under the boot lid for my amp and cap to sit in the gap and still have the lid close. underneath will be a pair of gas struts to lift this section up so i can get at the space below where the already fitted pair of 12" subs will sit on each side of the boot leaveing room to access the spare tyre.nothing to over the top or heavy just somthing basic.

but first i have to drop the recently fitted gerbox and waste all that brand new oil to fix an issue with the clutch fork damn thing has worn away at the pivot ball leaving me with only half of a clutch pedal before it uses the gearbox as the pivot  i wanted this thing complianced today and out at the pannel beater on monday so that i could be cruising by thursday friday at the latest not happy JAN!

yeah thats what the local mitsu specialist wrecker said to do he said about 3mm of packing/washers would be the bet. since it's practicly resting on the rear at rest.

and yep that modifying nothign just goes according to plan!
