drive it a few days and pull a derp when you adjust the valve lash that didn't need adjusting because you did't tighten everything introduce a rattle over 3krpm check the valve lash find it's far to fat hot and then pinch the IMPOSSIBLE to get in Australia rocker gasket between the cover and head leak heaps of oil and park it for a week while you import another one from NZ

and try figure out where and if you have a short in the ac system telling the ecu to idle up before taking it in for a tune

Looks good (besides the spam links I get on Photobucket now), new turbo should be interesting.

Pretty sure I have a rocker cover gasket at home that's in perfect condition. You can have it for the price of postage if you want, might get you by until you get a new one from overseas.

I have heard that gasless mig needs to be neg electrode and pos ground.
I never tried it, can you give it a go?

But my welding isn't any better (even without seeing pics), good on you for doing it yourself.

Maybe we should stick to brazing.

Ahh right, now I get why you've been having a hard time finding one. I thought they were the same.

The GT3071 would work well on the 1.8.

I'm impressed that you gave it a go to weld something yourself. I can't weld for shit and it's something I pay a professional to do.

Kyle have you considered going back to a completely visually stock looking coupe? Would scare the shit out of a lot of people.

The thought had crossed my mind but the intercooler creates an issue with the front bar. I am going to respray and finalize the body kit once its all one color again itll look just like many many other kitted lancers.

It actually has the rundown unloved beater vibe going which generally arnt considered quick
