And to spill the final beans, this setup is destined to be removed from the car within a year. Fear not! It'll live on in the form of the all too familliar GSRWRC! Which will return to daily driver duties with this 4G93T package.

"What about the Mirage?" I hear you all scream in unison?

Well. The final plan involves a VR-4 Block, 94mm Eagle crank, and the items in the pics below. This will create a stroked 2.2L 6 bolt 4G63 which I intend to pump some serious horsepower through. On the list of upgrades include a full Brembo brake package, 17"x7.5" Evo VI TME rims and widened bodywork to clear it all. GT35R of some description (FP GT3582HTA if the exch rate is favourable) Not to mention a full rollcage. Further focus will be taken on making the car even lighter as well. Will take a lot of the development from building the supporting mods around the 93T setup and carry them over into the 4G63 application, but in general the setup will be at another level. I expect the Mirage won't be complete in this final spec for a few years yet, but will at least have it in 93T spec and then the GSR to race until then

The pistons are actually custom made Wisecos, 86mm bore and to suit an Evo IX ringset and specifically a 94mm Eagle crank. The rods are just boring old 6 bolt Eagle jobbies. Will make a 2184cc 4G63.

Yeah, started out as an Evo III 16G. Dirk made an adaptor ring to fit the CT26 cover to the TD05 centre housing then machined it up to fit a 20G compressor. Exhaust side got a 7 degree backcut too.

My two sets of Semislicks. The DZ03Gs are 2nd hand (obviously) and will be relegated to street duties, the new R888s will be put on my other set of OZ rims and will be race only :) Having driven on Semis on the street for the past 6 months has spoiled me, hard to go back. lucky trademe is a good source of cheap 2nd hand semis that can be chewed up on the street WOF to WOF. Also added the Jim Berry clutch from your side of the tasman to the mod list (Knew I'd forget shit) :w00t:

Edit, added a few more pics of interesting stuff (I guess heh). Including a pic of how it was before the swap started, will pretty much look the same. Keen eyes will pic the 4x114 stud pattern as being 4WD, and the Evo brakes and semis when they're on. Other than that, its Nanas Mirage *evil grin* Also one of my "JS" Sticker. Took a pic of an RS sticker into a signwriter and got them to modify it. yes thats right, "Jarred Spec" motherfuckers

Finally a pic of the Turbo/dump and wastegate arrangement off the car. Gives a better idea of how it all works together.

I think GSR70Y had the original, sent one to a dude over here on 4G61NZ, I asked him to take a pic and I took that into a signwriter and had some made up at the same time as my JS items. Had to do some in a black font too as the 'Rage is going RS white in its MkII spec. As will the GSR in its MkIII spec. (Yeah, i'm boring, two white 4WD Mitsis)

The JS sticker is a good touch :) Its got some pretty good specs on the first page and when Dirk filled me in on the work you guys have done to the 4G93T (rods, pistons and block) I was impressed with the combination you guys come up with. Should be a tough little beast and a lot of fun to drive :) Great work!
