A bit more progress as of this morning...

Fuel filter added to the setup. This means one before the pump and one after the pump.

Also old 100 series speedflow lines vs new 200 series speedflow lines...

Hard alloy tube also terminated and installed for the return side.

I've got plenty of 100 series speedflow bits for sale if anybody is interested..

Will continue tomorrow. I wonder if i can get it running by Sat...ab03c01a01dddb18746070ddfff9ea9c.jpg330d969d6412ad2bc23bf9fcc36ef45d.jpg51d651860c4987beb6fae15c48981734.jpgb5ba10d6064a294e4e9045ebe17ecad4.jpg018add67677649fb9429d584566f7438.jpg

A kinked fuel line and my attempt to replace it caused me to miss the day with the VR4. The trusty stagea for me there though...

I thought I had a -8 line in the drawer but it was in fact a -10 line. Teflon lines are thinner than rubber so that caught me out when I initially thought I had what I needed to get the car running this morning....

At least the meet today motivated me to get the car to the current point (90% ready ).

Found another issue... Polyurethane bush has failed.. Will be going solid to prevent this from happening again...

Thanks Scott...

Some work done tonight...

Identified that my moustache brace bush has perished.. Not sure why..
So I'm replacing it with a stock one that has been packed with big washers..

While I'm there.. Might as well change the diff oil and change the diff cover..

New fuel system all done.

2000hp rated fuel pump should let me dial in the boost I need to wake the t51r spl up! Hopefully 10 litres of fuel supply doesn't get too annoying to manage on the Street / Dyno / track..

3fc59a58e8d2ceeb8decca2121a100bc.jpgf76675d8df7960be5e5d63011e287c10.jpg02d56b46fc400ffa71641b992bc7697a.jpg

Starting the battery relocation. New battery location is under the passenger seat. I'll make a plate to mount the circuit breakers and kill switch also.. Reduction in some weight by doing this. The 35mm cables are quite heavy!

Then move onto the flat shift gear knob install.
