Hey guys,
haven't been on this site in AGES!
anyhoo, up for sale is my 1995 CC Lancer GSR.
It is completely dead stock, and never been modified. (I'm talking original tape deck radio stock here ppl)
it's done 184,000kms.
Rego til may 2012
asking for 3.5K ono.
Will be roadworthy (or extremely close to it), but due to the minimal price - im unsure as to whether or not i can be bothered organising it.

It's going cheap as i'm about 24 hours away from owning a new xr6t (hopefully).

also, I should mention that it has one fault - I keep topping up the radiator every week as it's losing fluid.
Had it checked out, and it's looking like its going in to the motor - so will need a reco i believe (got quoted by some mechanic mates from 1-1.5K)
Just letting you all know, so you are aware that it needs that work done to it.

I've had the car long enough (4 years), and cbf getting it fixed to sell it anyway, so am looking to ship it off cheap to anyone that is willing.

The car still drives fine, starts every time, still boosts, etc - no worries. I still drive it to work every day. Has been a great little daily for me.
Now that i'm finished uni and have a full time career job, i feel it's fitting to upgrade.

I'm located in Upwey, Vic.
Best bet is to email me: [email protected], or try the mobile: 0438249842 - may not answer as at work, but leave a msg or text, and i'll get back to you (the name's Chris btw)

note: some little bastard decided to rip off the little part of the front bar (as seen in pics)
and there is a relatively small scratch from a subaru driver that knicked me in the carpark and ran (distinctive blue paint)

what image uploader do i use? they are all getting rejected!!

It's just a plain silver/grey kinda colour.
Would've loved a white one, or a darker gray/black... but ahwell, still very happy

I haven't seen one so stock for ages! That's a great price, even with a leaking head gasket (I'm guessing that's whats wrong with it?)

Good luck with the sale mate, I know if I were looking for a GSR id snap this up.

haha, yeah, I had initial plans to mod it... but was an extremely poor uni student, and the reliability of the stock car was too good to refuse.
And yeah, leaking head.

Hey mate, pretty much if you pay for the roady - i'm assuming it's pretty much passable as is, if not i'll try and organise all the necesary stuff.

so yeah 3K plus the rwc.
more than welcome to come check her out - still drives, boosts, etc. I've been topping it up before big drives, could even put a load of that 'chemi-weld' stuff through it, try and clog up the gaps a bit, buy yourself some time i guess.

oh ok, It should make the journey, I'd still been driving it to work and what not before I got my new car last week.
We'll just put a few bottles of water in the boot for peace of mind ;)

just drive it home...........He said it drives so it should be ok with the radiator cap only half clicked on.

My daughter drove hers around like that for two or three months before I put the rattle trap forged engine in.

Its about 1,200km Brian
If its gping to be reliable for that length then yeah... I could fly down on a Friday and drive back on a weekend.
Would prob need a roadworthy just to cover the trip back home though. ie advise VICROADS Im driving it and pay the small insurance fee to make the trip back home.
I have to blue slip it in NSW anyway and put rego on it.

1,200 is easy to me.....I regularly do over 500 a day and some days 900. Just glad I don't pay for the fuel!!!

it should be ok to drive.....once its hot it shouldnt use water as long as you stay out of the boost and cruise...
