Hi guys,

I am selling my Evo 9 turbo, it has done 15000kms on my car, and originally had about 7000kms on the evo 9 itself.

Price is $650.

Located in Melbourne, but willing to post / courier it interstate at buyer's costs.

NEW ITEM ADDED:

Used set of PTE 880cc injectors (85lb/hr).
Bought it off a forum member, he advertised it as 1000cc but part number tells me that they are 880cc and he doesnt have the money to refund me.

they look like this
http://www.amsperfor...-injectors.html

looking for only $220.

Does anyone know if this is a bolt job from an evo 8 turbo and does it have much more hp?

There is a rightup Around somewhere about comparisons in turbos. They are all td05's so they should all be bolt on. Just some are different internals or made out if lighter materials

9 has a bigger comp/turbine housings, different turbo outlet, and different oil/water lines.

To go on a 4-8 you'll need a fitting kit from gtpumps or the like.

Thanks Paul! Would it be worth it for the power gain though? Is there much outright power to be had?

not a worthwhile upgrade if your chasing quite a bit more power imo

not correct, evo 9 one is different than evo 4 to 8 ones, it's TD06 16G

it requires a fitting kit for evo 4 to 8, I can sell mine to your if you're interested.

from my stock turbo to evo 9 turbo, I gained 25awkws drive in drive out with a tune.

Sorry my bad, just had a quick look, yeah they are TD05, for some reason I have always thought they are td06.

More info:
Model = TD05HRA-16G6C-10.5T
Turbine: Inconel alloy
Compressor: Aluminium

Nozzle Area (cm2) = 10.5

... * New more efficient & larger Compressor preventing compressor surge
... * Better pump gas efficiency
... * Turbine Nozzle Area (cm2) = Large 10.5 Hotside (single flapper)
... * Improve actuator design

Side by side comparison E8 v E9 turbos (E9 is on the left and E8 on the right):

The E9's had MIVEC to compensate in tuning for the larger all round turbo. good upgrade for E4-8 but would suggest a flash to get full benefits from this turbo (is known to add a slight bit more lag then stock, but can usually rectify with a tune)

I thought all stock evos are td05's. Just with a slightly new design.

Registering my interest in the injectors. Do you know if these are a bolt in option or require rail to be modified.
