The 3 cars we took down to power play. Turbo LS1 stroker 61 chev, Ls1 Turbo Hg ute and the van. We were all roughly (when I could get a fucken gear) the same sort of speed on the day. The Chev runs 10.9's and is around 1920KGs with just a driver. We had so much fun out in the Chev for Hour of Power and beat nearly everything we raced and was the only hour of power car with a full car load. The van was going strong, killed alot of turbo and supercharged v8's, even managed to beat a supercharged Big block ford. Was really hard to get races until they had seen you race and then if I beat them they were not keen to get beaten by a van a second time lol.

Bloody victas...
Formaz are around the corner from me and they wind the lacky bands pretty tight on these rotaries some mornings.
The sound of a thousand wild and unmuffled victas drifts over the still morning air.....
But the guy nearby has a couple of sprint cars and they sound awesome.

Unfortunately I haven't touched my van since power play because iv been finishing off my mates Evo 9 I built him. The vans going to be getting a few upgrades and a swap to a 3 speed torqueflite Auto. I also got a much bigger HX55 turbo but I cant get the rear housing I want at the moment so im going to max out the current set up first and try run some 10's. Im also measuring it up for a half cage with side intrusion bars because I would feel alot more confident at powercruise.
I found my hard to shift problem, I had less than 3 pucks intact.
I got a fuel flex sensor so I can run any mix of ethanol and not have to change my tune.
Also got a new set of valve springs and Ti retainers, main cap girdle and H11 head studs after I started pushing coolant on standard ARP head studs.
A set of pro star 15x3.5's fronts.
28x9 slick compared to my 245/50/16.
I will need to square off the edges of the tubs and possably move the leaf springs in 20mm.
Fills in the guard nicely.
I had a set of 18x9.5" rims and porsche cup car Slicks that my mate wanted me to try fit up, I think it looks shit but it means I can steal the 265 semi slicks from the race car and hopefully put some power to the ground for powercruise.
Got a new turbo for my mk1 escort drag car that im playing with.

this thing is mental, you mentioned you were looking to push 40psi, how will the primary turbo go with that sort of pressure or doe the turbos run individual boost levels as your running two wastegates?

Its only at a low pressure ratio so it as far as it knows its at 25psi. The big turbo was running 15psi and small about 22psi(as far as it knew), the first wastegate vents around the small turbo when it gets to its 22psi to stop it being choked by the small turbo, then the second wastegate is in between both turbo's and controls big turbo boost. Im actually going to see if I can max out the 4 bar map sensor at around 45psi if I have enough injector (running 8x 820cc injectors).
