Nah the lights, I hooked up my boost gauge today and it works fine but now the dash lights don't work so I'm guessing I've blown a fuse.

That's what Im talking about?!
Anyway its up under the bonnet release near where your right leg goes while driving... little black lid. Inside are fuses for speedo illumination, radio etc etc...

from the accelerator 2 row in 2nd or thrid fuse up from the botom it's a 10 amper. quckest way to diag fuses would be to bust out the circuit tester. turn car to on and touch the tester contact on both side of each fuse if no light on both sides fuse = blown

yes it's me KHUBNER

Quite simple then really...Pull each one out till you find the one that's fucked...

Ok none of them look blown....all I did was tap into the dimmer. What else could it be? :\

al the power being drained from the circuit to the guage or the fuse under the hood is blown. if the fuse under the hood is fine i'd be reverting back to stock and finding another source like say factory stereo illum.

I disconnected the gauge and turned the headlights back on....still no dash lights! Which fuse under the hood are u talking about? I'm a bit confused because the lights for the climate control work, but speedo, tacho etc don't light up. Do u think maybe the globe has blown?

there like 5 bulbs in the cluster so unlikly they all blew have you tried moving the dimmer switch maybe you dimmed it all the way. if you have tried adjusting that i'd say maybe that has blown. fuse under hood is park/brake fuse maybe even headlight fuse

I've tried the dimmer it still dims the gauge so that's still ok, headlights work so don't think it's the headlight fuse...I'll have a look at all the fuses under the bonnet to see if any of them is blown....hopefully I find something!

it may also be possible that you've somhow disconnected the supply for the dash so look for broken wires/ run a new one
