Yeah checked them already and plugs are good there on 3k old ngk laser platinum
Platinum plugs are a waste of cash IMO. I'd still be pulling them to see if they've been fouled...
What plugs are they exactly??? What are their part numbers?
02 sensor won't be doing anything like that. It only tells the mixture readings to the ECU on cruise, not WOT. If it wasn't working, you'd just be using more fuel. You can run no 02 sensor at all if you wanted to.
How long were you running 18psi for before you put the fuel pump in? Did you get it tuned for 18psi?

sounds to me like the symptoms of a boost leak. Is it chucking out black smoke when it runs rough?
BRIAN

Yep! Mate same thing has happened to me. It did the whole popping noise n stuff as well... Anyways, turned out it was the leads. What happened was that during the early stages of the when the rubber seals/silicone plug seals started deteriorating and splitting it would only so often make that 'popping' sound as you described in ya post. Now, as your boosting. Naturally your creating more sparks per second say. And thus creating a far higher strike rate for a split lead arch to the cyclinder block instead of ya spark plug. Don't forget the heat your also gonna get when you up'ing it a lil. This coincides with the silicone starting to warp and making it far easier to cause an engine misfire. I could be completely wrong as i'm only go by what i can see/hear on YT. I'm only suggesting it could be this as all the symptoms are very similar to my personal situation. Lol Ask TBORVR on this forum! He was the one that rocked up while i was stranded on the side of the road. That's how bad mine got. But it was a relatively cheap fix. I got my 9mm ignition leads made up by QLD Ignition Leads in Brisbane for around $150 fitted.
Hope this helps mate.
