Will swap for CE Mirage manual
Car is in Lawnton Brisbane
1974 LA Lancer
4spd Manual
1600 Twin solex's, stage 3 cam which I have not put in yet. The motor was rebuilt at some stage and runs great - Tune done by Carbtech in Brisbane and help from Brad Summerville
Body is straight minus the F/R Guard
Chrome is all in good nick
Interior has usual cracks and tears
has new shocks up front, most if not all suspension bushes front and rear have been replaced
GT40R Coil, new leads, dizzy cap, rotor button, brake pads, radiator cleaned flushed and painted, prop-shaft uni's replace and balanced and a whole list of things to bring her up to standard etc etc..
This is how I bought it and I still do have the steelies and cross plies

This is very tempting..... I keep telling myself "only one project" but something like this is very cool.

hey looks like another NZ'er made their way to Brisbane! Nice that you went oldschool. Quite tempting actually, but wish it were a 2 door or a wagon. Am guessing the original engine is long gone? That's got a belt drive 4G32 which didn't come out until the late 70s/early 80s.

Whats it like for rust in the bottom of the rear quarters, bottom of the doors, bottom of the front guards and around the front and rear windscreens?
I miss my old little '77 LB sedan and I remember rust was the killer, but mechanically these little cars and engines could live through a nuclear explosion lol

yeah mate same username on MMC too. yeah bought Kris's old '91 ZERO' and still have it despite relocating to Brisbane. Have it stored in my parents garage where it gets driven by my mother or brother every few weeks. Good work on selling the LA - there's heaps more oldschool cars here in better condition than back in NZ I reckon. What do you do here in Brisbane? I work at Century batteries out Carole Park but am looking for a place to live in the city so I can get a job in the CBD.
