vr4 conversion into CB GSR

What im planning to do is drop a vr4 motor into my CB GSR. I have a everything possible to get it going. I dont plan to go 4wd so im going to run the 61NA box.
Now, from what ive read, I can use all 61 mounts and the motor will drop straight in?
use 61 flywheel and clutch to mount to 61NA gearbox?
best to use the wiring loom from vr4? but once i use this wiring loom, i have to somehow connect it with the interior loom to get it all connected right? how has everyone tackled this?
do i use the 61 air con compressor so i can connect the lines to condensor easily as the vr4 one is all different looking.
is there anything else i should do in order to make it easier?
thanks for your time guys
cheers
also if there is someone whos done the conversion and is cbf to write it out, PM me your number, and i'll call you as i would like to get this done soon! thanks!

You may need a new fly wheel, or you can get the correct starter plate, that will relocate starter to closer to the flywheel.
Not sure about different starters, but I grabbed one for mine just in case.
Let one of the others confirm this is correct. It only what I read here or elsewhere.

it could be just late at night and my mind isn't processing properly but isn't the starter bolted to the bellhousing? How will changing the dustplate relocate the starter?

So the starter plates match the gearbox. Change from/to a awd box, you need the correct matching starter plate.

Lol
Could he use a different flywheel? I'm not sure which one though.
Otherwise what Jack said wouldn't be a bad idea. If you can get hold of a VR4 gearbox, weld the centre diff and use that.
It'll have a higher load capacity than your fwd box.

Did you buy the white one in Adelaide??
Sounds like you have the wrong flywheel

Is it the 61 starter as well? I assume it is.
How can it be wrong? It should all match up.
I dont think a awd flywheel will go in as its a fwd gearbox. And it will hit the bell housing.
Can you lock the starter throw out and measure with bluetack or something as to how far from the ring gear you are.

It seems there are 3 flywheels (I thought only 2) the awd wheel, the fwd wheel and the fwd turbo wheel. It seems the fwd turbo wheel is the largest but would mean you have a turbo fwd gearbox if you wheel is too small.
Is this right clutz?
