Someone i know got cleaned up by a guy whos car wasnt reg'd or rwc or insured oranything. I feel so bad for him, his car is fucked, his leg is fucked, but at least he should get some compensation from TAC, im not sure how it works entirely.
The other guy and is passenger werent so lucky, camoe off worse than my friend and nothing is covered for them, think if you became a quadriplegic because your dumbass friend didnt pay his reg?
Pay your reg or your a fuckwit IMO, how would you like to become a quadriplegic and not get any help for the millions of dollars of expenses you will rack up?
my 3 cents..

i agree!!!!!!
if you can't afford rego or at least 3rd party insurance, you shouldn't be on the road!!!!!!
it's not that expensive, honestly...
i've heard of way too many people being hit by unregistered/uninsured cars
maybe australia should introduce something like what other countries have (USA and some European countries) and have compulsory rego and insurance.

Yeah compulsory would be the way to go, i hate paying rego/insurance as much as the next person but i know i'd feel like a total asshole if i had my girlfriend in a car with no reg and it got totalled, leaving her stuffed up for life!
Its just so unfair to see someone whos worked for ages to buy there dream-car to have it totalled by some dickhead whos to lousy to spend a few hundred each year.
Fork out the cash, and you might save someones life.

And how are they going to make rego compulsory ? IT IS NOW
Most of your rego cost is insurance (3rd Party property)

true it is compulsory, maybe if when they send you out the renweal notice and you dont pay up, then they should send the cops round? Yeah that will never happen, if you dirve with no reg your still a f/w, and selfish to.

Yeah, its mainly the personal injury part i wanted to point out, if you travel in a car thats not reg, you are at risk of crashing and not being covered in very expensive health bills.

Yes in victoria. Read your rego papers. Registration is only about 92 dollars the rest is TAC premiums for insurance.
The 4G63 motor code is street shorthand for dominance. It's automotive Darwinism.

Its called third party personal.
It covers someones medical bills, and yes it is compulsary in all 7 states and territories. Third party property which is not compulsary covers someones merc.
