Im Robert and my handle is VR4me2, you might have guessed I'm not the youngest bloke here but I've got fully synthetic oil in my veins instead of blood and all my plugs are still firing so handle it OK :D . and don't think I'll take anyone of you younguns callin me ol oiler or grumpy either here! B) Yeah, I've been a performance addict for a long time, used to run FJ's at Castlereigh strip in the days when consistant low 16's were very respectful times hahaha. I've managed to keep my interest ion performance cars longer than I have marriages so I guess that says something! In August this year I bought a newly landed 1998 2nd generation Vr4 and what a car, I've had GTHO's, XU1 Toranas, modified quite a few Commodores etc with my first grey import being a very smik, yeah I know.. that means "cool"or "mad or even"sick" stuffed if I know what that means ! But this Vr4 is something else, OK, it's a tiptronic but "e" I gotta make some compremises  It's Pearl White and was pretty decent first up but I've done a few little things but lots more to come. Brembos on the front, a beautiful Tanabi 3" system, s/s cat back and front pipes, Tien electrically adjustable coil overs and 17" rims was how it came to which I've addeda set of gloss black 18's, Clarion D.Din head set with DVD, "plays Amazing Grace real nice !!!! renewed all oils, new set of NGK iridiums and NGK leads, K&N air cleaner and ordered for the new year is a bigger FMIC , flashing the EMC, a set of Brembos for the rear and maybe that will do for a while.SO, if your still here, stay tuned for the next chapter with pics. And thats the longest post I'll ever do.... promise
Oh' nearly forgot, Meeks AUtomotive are doing all the work so I know its going to be screwed together correct!

welcome old timer. dont worry, i feel old too amongst most of these lads. lol who knows, we may even be the same generation? hehe
i like your generation of galants. you got style and class with ooph. or should i say performance.
compared to them other cars you mentioned, you get economy and yo have the get up when you need it. instead of always guzzling juice all the time, regardless of wether its performing or not. lol waste of fuel.
so you made a wise decision, my friend. :D
