Bron, how about getting MIS-65R instead of MISGSR. Would only cost you $120 first off to get them made, then $90 per year... instead of paying the RTA a rediculous $400+ per year :)

Yep, the RTA rape us in NSW. Add a bit over $400+ per yr for custom plates, $600+ for rego incl greenslip, plus add the cost of pink slip, insurance etc. Its a wonder why we dont ride pushbikes!!!

Some plates are only $90 per yr so thats not too bad. I know a lot of people just handing their custom plates back in because its fkn too rediculously expensive. The justification the RTA use to charge so much is that the $$ goes back into funding road safety projects and initiatives -_-

2ndly.. yes I have pondered much over the last 3 + years as to what path I will go for number plate again.. even thought of MI56SR .. so thanks anyway :) .. decision made and purchased!!!

an annual plate fee is the least of my worries now

I'm used to it.. had the car for 10 years on 12th August!!

it is now a one-off $100 ordering fee and $440 per year :o

and yeah as bron said, our roads arent getting any better with all this revenue.. if anything ive noticed a few roads getting worse as each week goes by..

Cheap? That would be like $150+ i think, it looks like a late evo steel replacment, i had a tomei one i sold not long ago and im kind of regretting selling it now... It held boost well...
