looking at a 94 GSR

new to this, was contemplating having a look at this car listed on drive and wanting to know what to look out for on these GSR's

Some of us still have them and with a lot less kms than the one listed.
If you don't know what to look for TS you might want to pay for an inspector or have a mechanic (if you know one) come check it out with you.

with that many KMS on board i would be looking for receipts for lifters.......

Wow! That looks pretty clean and original - even has the factory tape player in it!! SIVART should buy it to keep alongside his 2x clean and original EVO2s.

water pump has been replaced but nothing said about timing belts. THe kms indicate that the timing belt is due. I would be wanting to see proof that this has or has not been done. If i was a serious buyer then in the absence of proof, i would be popping the top timing cover off and having a look. Might save you some time from replacing bent valves down the track.

In addition to above, do a compression test (as for any car). Does anyone know if the RACV test includes this or if you can ask them to do it?
