Went to calder with a fair few boys on the weekend for the last LOSD @ calder.

Must say it was a very hot day as the first run my hand slipped off the gear knob twice in one run due to so much sweat and having to wait for over an hour to run.

Pretty good day overall as expectations were to run anything better than my best time before.

Ran a best of 11.45 @ 119MPH with a 60ft of 1.61, had 4 runs in all first 12.8 missing 2nd and 3rd, 11.45,11.6 over revving and 11.5 on last run.

My friends R35 GTR (2012 model) ran a 11.2 as per books, other friend ran 11.8 in his red e3.

so all in all very good day.

Need to sort out the traction issues and we should see some good numbers. Thanks to the hard and tireless work from the boys @ GT Hyper Auto

Some photos for the day.

119mph, did you have to shift to 5th?

Are you making more power than your old setup or less?

A big drop in mph from your last outing....

Or do you think the mph was due to the heathcote mph problem on one of the lanes.....?

i think it was due to mph issues at heathcote.

Im making same power on less boost atm. Turbos maxed itself out. So unless i goto a bigger turbo or go e85 i won't be seeing anymore power.

E85 option is out of the question as we only want to run the times on 98 ron fuel.

Im also only shifting at 7200rpm whereas before i was shifting at about 8500rpm.

Nah i cross the line at the end of 4th with the current rev limiter.

Theres definitely better times in the car without having to get more power as my friends R35 GTR which ran an 11.2 was left for dead on the street (closed off permitted area obviously) :)

Oh nice... Your car will definately do a 10 with a higher limiter. Great low 60ft time there too.

The reason I asked if you shifted to 5th was because on my 11.6 run, I bounced off the limiter in 4th before the line and changed to 5th as I crossed the line. My limiter is set to 7600.

What was your half track time?
