Decided on the 73mm HTA Green despite the extra $300US, the FP Red spec 76mm compressor on the Green XL is probably a bit large for the Greens 65mm TD06H4 turbine. A good turbo for the $$, just not as well balanced as the 73mm Green.

Hopefully Bogan Santa will pay a visit before Christmas

54lb/min should bring on boost quicker with the 2.2L. Depends what you want out of it really.
But piss those EVO cams off and install the Kelfords before getting the car back on the road!!
I'd like to see how that combo goes.

We'll see how the bank balance is when it comes to getting it started. There'll be heaps of little costs that'll add up towards the end, i'd rather get it going first!

Bogan Santa arrived early on his Matte black Sleigh(er) with AC/DC turned up to eleven. He hopped out, slammed the door and screamed

"Jarred! Get your ass out here, I've got your 20mm Whiteline rear fuckin' sway bar you useless C$NT!"

He then returned to his Sleigh(er), did a skid while giving me the finger and yelled

"Merry Christmas to me, the rest of you c$nts can get fucked!"

Customs had been dragging their feet, all this stuff has been in the country for a week grrrrr

The numberplate surrounds were a nice surprise, even though they can't fit our Kiwi plates

We do have E85, but its not readily available enough for a daily. Best local fuel is E10 98.

I have 2 black Inital D EVO3s

So here we have my modified DSMGreen with Evo X t/s exhaust housing. Strangely this one came with a 67mm FPRed turbine so It had to have a fair bit of meat taken out of the housing to fit (and actually put a hole in it, hence the weld to fill it). I'll take the extra turbine with a smile though.



Also finally got around to having the block machined. Now I just need to locate a good oil pump and I can start assembling the bottom end.

And a successful evening spent removing the rear subframe and diff from the Mirage, swapping out the swaybar for the 20mm jobbie, the lateral arms for CE9A items and the axles for some Evo I RS items I bought off Dirk a while back. Strangely enough I didn't swear, draw blood or throw any tools during this process, be prepared for the fire and the brimstone and the end of days - the apocalypse is upon us.

wow that housing must be thin in the turbine area! is there going to be enough meat on it not to fall apart under heat stress?
should be awesome though
