howdy i recently brought a 4g63 engine block for a forged engine build, but been just a block and the guy could not tell me much about but he thought it was a vr4, it does have oil squiters hole, so def a turbo block, just wonder if there is a difference in block from cranks and parts etc, dont wanna go get the wrong parts forged crank etc, when time comes, kind regards.

does it have a full one piece crankshaft cradle or 3 piece?
7 bolt are one piece. You could also check the bearing widths and head stud hole sizes too.
