Hey guys, has anyone used or is using plazmaman intercooler kit on their e1-3/gsr? Whats your feedback on them? Could you post up a pic of the kit installed?
They have a picture of a vr4 uploaded for a evo kit on their site, so it doesnt quite give the right idea of what it would like installed.

thanks
Peter

I was looking at the pro and street pro series kits, unsure of how the pipes go but on the picture of a vr4 they have it goes over the exhaust manifold.

When I got mine (plazmaman), it didn't go over the manifold. Also, with a 600*x intercooler the pipe that ran over the top of it wasn't long enough. We cut it in half and used another joiner which did the job.

oh great, so thats their piping kit only that is used with factory intercooler, right? Any idea if the piping in their complete intercooler kits is using the same route as per your pics (which is also how standard pipes travel) or go different way? Did the hole for the hot pipe below headlight needed to be enlarged to make room for the bigger pipe or it was direct fitment?

hope you or someone can answer few of my questions :D

1. MEEK kit with factory intercooler with enlarged end-tank inlet/outlet pipes (these should come in the kit);
2. Those pics are from a car with the EVO route piping kit, so yes - the kit follows the factory route in over the top of the intercooler and out back through the guard;
3. The hole in the radiator support does need to be enlarged slightly to take the larger pipe.

The hot side pipe in the kit has a 2" end where it joins to the turbo. You will need a flared J-pipe outlet off your turbo if you are running the factory EVO/GSR compressor housing (as per one of the pics above).
