so changed my lifters to meek lifters and changed my oil to motul turbolight
still making this noise
any help would be muchly appreciated

did you bleed the lifters before you put them in?

sounds like a tractor and metal slapping sort of
could be lifetrs that haveny got pressure yet...but can you do a leak down test? work it around till each piston reaches the fire position and pump the cylinder with air from a compressor.....listen for air escaping in inlet and exhaust.

Lmfao. I have a vivid imagination, and I'm struggling to imagine the noise a cat in a 20l tin would make.. ))
