When you removed the seal you would have had the circular needle bearing behind it which lives inside the output pinion [the bearing on the left in the pic]. Make sure you have one behind the seal!
The other smaller bearing is 6.32-6.33mm or yeah, 1/4" as advised [see pic].

fancy that, a metric car from japan, built almost 25 yrs after aussie went metric and it has a 1/4" ball bearing in it...
4g93t jumbuck conversion. PRANGED 18/3/12, CHECK MY MEMBER RIDES Page 11. no serious human injuries.
ON THE ENGINE STAND. g4cs 2.4l + Gt35r. PLUS: auto conversion + Awd coming.

I found a similar size bearing on the ground after removing the transfer case.
Not sure does it belong to the output shaft, should there be any concern ?

Unless you removed the end cover from your gearbox its from somewhere else.

Nope I have never open the end cover from the gearbox.
I did remove the passenger drive shaft "I moved the shaft to a side enable me to remove the oil pan" is there a bearing there?
