I have a question Can I set turbo Turbo TD05HR (evolution 7 gta) on my engine 4G93T (standard turbo td04)?
How about feeling if compare TD05 evo3?

spec turbo
Evolution 7 GTA
Turbo = TD05-15GK2-9.0T
Nozzle Area (cm2) = 9.0
TD05 Turbine = Inconel (steel alloy)
Compressor 15GK2 = Aluminium
Inducer = 49.3mm
Exducer = 65mm
Turbine housing = twin flapper

have you a recommended this?

i think your going to get alot of turbo lag with such a large nozzle area an evo 3 td05h has a 7cm nozzle. and while a twin scroll turbo can be bolted up you lose the advantages of it without having an apropriate manifold

yes it's me KHUBNER

I think these "face" the wrong way....as in the inlet for turbo is on the passenger side so will mean relocation of other components.

stick to the tried and tested early evo 1/2/3 turbos they are easily upgraded to 20g any way....then the exhaust can be upgraded to 8cm

BRIAN
Black evo 1 full road rego and done properly/legally

I have heaps of parts...but never the one I need.

Do you mean 300hp at the wheels or engine? you wont make 300hp at the wheels with a stock (default) engine.
Im with BMGTZ the evo7 gta turbo does face the wrong way and will not bolt directly up to the stock manifold.
If you stay with the evo1/2/3 turbo's a simple porting of the turbo manifold you have will have a easy turbo upgrade.

The GTA Evo 7 turbo rotates the wrong way = no boost for this model. note the " RA " at the end of the model description of the Evo 7 turbo.

I think I would of been up around 280whp in my stock block gsr, I was running 12.5's at around 113+mph. I think they are highly under rated and the cant go over 15psi is bullshit I ran just under 20psi on a 16g a few times on circuit days and on factory ecu and a apexi safc2.

it wouldn't matter which way the turbo rotates so long as the turbine and compressor are matched. (i.e a counter clowise turbine mated to a counter clockwise compressor) the no boost situation would occur with missmatched turbine and compressors ( counter clock wise turbine -> clock wise compressor)

If you want a nice turbo to bolt to the 4G93T, sell the TD05HR turbo and find a EVOX turbo

Here is 1 getting thown to a early 4G63T engine, not sure if you can rotate the comp housing, but you may need to get a half size radiator or relocate it unde the radiator support panel

Hey Sutee_P,

Not sure how far your build has gone but I have just finished what you are planning to do,

4G93T with a TD05HR 16g 10.5t. (Twin flapper)

It has been a long 4 months but after custom making a equal length extractors and custom down pipe it's all up and running an even with that large nozzle area I have barely any lag.

Obviously depending how far you have gone throw me some questions and ill try to answer them!
