A050, not the cheapest but close to the best true semi in that size,
cheap and cheerfull r888's, but they are not even close to the A050s.

or khumos from tyrerack in the states

Advan A050's literally FTW. When you get so many World Time Attack cars, including the quickest cars running them, you know they're good.
On the cheaper scale, what about the Nitto NT01's over the R888's George? (Dry use). Sometimes I see the prices drop between $150-$200 each.

I've been liking my Toyo R888s.

yes nt01s will be better than r888s IMO, they are very hard for a semi but work quite well and
last well too. i have done about 12-15 track days on my Toyo RA-1s which are the same compound as the NT's.

shayne wear out those 888s and get some 5-0's yo.

I also have a set of Z221s to try on my car, they are fast also.

Nice. Do Hankook even make the Ventus anymore? or did they get in the sh!t for copying the A050's tread design? lol

here are the Z221s, they are a true semi, not a roady, the design is similar though

We missed out on some NT01's in Feb when they were on sale.
Check out the price they were at the time when I took a screenshot!
Now they're back to $240 each.

I have used both the R888 and the federal 595RS which I have found pretty good, especially for the price.

I have a set of the Nitto NT01's and they are pretty good. In the dry.
wet on the other hand i think the maxxis shit bags I have on the road rims are probably better.

just a bit hard to get tyres under the guards on 17's in a GSR CC in some of those sizes 225-40-17 i think would scrub???

16" are too small for the brakes.
