This is my 1985 Cordia GSL, which I put back on the road close to 12 months ago now after it was hit from the passenger side damaging the guard, nose cone, headlight, parker unit, headlight surround, lower apron & pushing in some of the inner panels that house the headlight unit.

I was lucky enough to replace all of these parts through a local wrecker. While obviously that side of the car needed some additional panel beating & some adjustments to get the headlight & lower apron straight & lined up again it was good enough to get it on the road, all in one piece.

However many months it's been now, the car is making some good progress & as usual never misses a beat. It's been in the family since the mid 90's, so I couldn't see the thing go. I just sold my TT 300ZX at the time due to some engine problems, so it was perfect timing & a good excuse to see it get driven again.

It was also well optioned with electric windows / mirrors & power steering, thankfully a manual as well so all it was missing was the damn turbo, haha.

So far I'm fairly pleased with how the car is turning out aesthetic-wise. I'll be content when I finally get some wheels I'm completely happy with, that's my main goal. Here is an up to date mods list below:

Model: AB GSL
Colour: Polar White
Exterior:
Tinted side indicators, Colt clear front indicators, GSR tow hook, reconditioned Black bumpers & lower skirts, factory mud guards, window tint, GSR rear spoiler, GSR front lip, Saxo Yellow foggies w/ stone covers, Hella 118db Supertone horns behind front grille, Satin Black bonnet, Gloss Black hatch, re-painted wipers, cowlings & side air vents, all pin stripping & side decals removed due to bad aging.
Engine Type: 1.8 4G37
Engine Mods: 10mm top gun leads, Bosch platinum plugs, new radiator hoses & clamps, replaced engine mounts, newish steering rack, new battery, rad cap, few bits & pieces sprayed high temp Gloss Black
Power: Unbelievable
Exhaust: 2.5" GSR cat-back w/ stainless twin tip X-force muffler
Gearbox: 5-speed manual
Diff: Stock
Brakes: Stock, cleaned & painted
Suspension: King springs all around, Monroe GT front & rear shocks
Wheels/Tyres: Non-turbo R33 skyline wheels in Gloss Black 15 x 6 +40, Black open ended wheel nuts
Interior: GSR front & rear seats, Black dash mat, Magna Black rear vision mirror, Red lens door lights, added footrest, new Black carpet, padded Momo wheel / HKB boss
Other Mods: Artic White Halogens w/ heavy duty harness
Stereo: Extnix headunit / factory cassette player
Build Period: Modifications started 6 months ago
Cost: Relatively low
Future mods: New front/rear sway bars, GSR front brakes, modifiy a front strut brace to fit, get the extractors fitted, fit the A/C, find some wheels that I'll actually be happy with

Here it is in it's orginal state even with the body decals intact. Testing on some old skool rare SSR's.

I'm currently waiting for a mate of mine who was nice enough to do a mini photoshoot last Friday night of the Cordia, to upload some of the photos of how she stands today. As soon as I get my hands on them I'll be posting them up !

Next upgrade is some factory style side skirts I managed to source through a local Cordia member which I'll be picking up & fitting on Wednesday. They are almost identical to the AE86 skirts, funny enough some of the guys use the Cordia skirts as they fit straight up.

Photos up soon.

And here are some recent shots of the car a mate of mine just uploaded from a mini photoshoot we did a week ago, very pleased with how they turned out, credit goes out entirely to him !

I should mention I'm not yet 100% satisfied on the exterior, so it's soon to change slightly again, I've already sold these wheels to name one lol.

Haha, yes that was me. My friend & I recognized your car straight away as it was coming down the main road. Were you coming from the JDMST meet ?

Was good to see & hear the car in person.

Update:
Drivers side CV Shaft finally started clicking the other week & now both boots were split with shit all over the place, so I picked up the new Driveshaft on Friday for $100, GSP brand.
Fitted it Saturday along with some new Super Pro Polyurethane Sway bar link Bushes & new Washers to go with.

Also got a Starion/Conquest steering wheel w/ light up radio controls (also in Orange) from the US delivered yesterday & fitted that up as well after slicing off all of the stuffed leather.

I saw Mike's car the other day when he bought side skirts off me. Looks good, rare to see running Cordia's these days besides mine.
Hope to see this with skirts soon.

Should of, but didn't want to seem like I was interupting ! Haha & that would of been my mate talking about some 16x8's for his E30 no doubt !

Cheers Tim. I test fitted the skirts the other day, fit nicely & looks decent.

Have to wait now for some nice weather so I can paint them up !
