hi, easy one for the gurus here,
as some of you know, my painter for my ute wants me to source a new front bar, as mine is pretty rough. i have a ad in the classifieds here, and cant really say what i want as i not sure myself of what i have or need to fit what i have already....
are my guards evo or gsr?, i think gsr as from initial fiting they fit my proton liners

and front bar, this is plastic. evo2? but does it suit evo guards or gsr?

i just found this one too, i think it is evo bar bashed in to fit gsr guards:

i like the evo2 bar as it sits a bit higher than the e3 (without the splitter on the bottom)
 
looks like an evo 2 front bar couldn't tell you the guard though the only evo 2 guard that would suit gsr guard would be fiberglass as copies generally weren't made in plastic. so i'd say it would suit evo guards
 
You can see in this pics how much flared the EVO front guards and bar are

Also the EVO2 front bar is basically an EVO1 front bar with a lip

WTF ?? That Makes Fuck all sense to me??


Anyway...as Mike says you will need a fiberglass Evo copy bar, to suit with your GSR guards.
 
Ok, thank you all. I have seen a few evo3 glass bars that look like they suit the Gsr guards, but I personally not a big fan, and they hang a bit low for me (especially without skirts and pods).
Do we know of sources for the evo1/2 bars in glass suit Gsr guards.

Ages ago there was a post on here about someone on here that got some made here in Perth, but I can't find it...
 
Nice work, still keener on the evo1/2, the 3s are very pronounced around the 2 side holes, even with the lip cut off. and the 1/2 bars are way smoother looking.
The 3 bars are $660 over here, with a 1 week wait (for them to dig the mold out) think it was the spoiler shop
