I have a spare EVO ECU, INJ and AFM if you really wanted to go that way

@EVL-20T - How much do you want for them?

@oggy - how much for the 16g?

Am I right in thinking its all bolt on and plug in? Except for the manifold that would need to be fabricated? Is there a bolt on manifold?

Yep...its all bolt on and plug in....
With the manifold..you can use your current one, you will just have to enlarge the outlet hole on manifold to 7cm...
You can do it yourself with a good die grinding bit and a heap of patience! Or...pay someone to do it if you can't be fucked!!
You will also need to make your front pipe a bit longer to meet up with the 16g dump...Which will probably cost you another $100-150 unless you know someone in the game...

Oh...and you will probably need a few turbo gaskets too...dump gasket, gasket between mani and turbo and the one between dump and front pipe...

psycho I'll PM you over the next couple of days - i'm flat out at work atm (still there haha) so i'll have a good look at it when I get a chance to see what lines it has/doesn't have.

It is fairly bolt on/plug and play - about as easy as you will get on these cars any way!
Some other issues you may run into:
* Dump pipe may foul on the oil filter - I just grund a tab off my dump and it fitted fine. 16g you may want to re-locate your oil filter or get a custom dump
made. maybe somebody else has a better idea of a 16g dump. No biggie either way though!
* td04 J-pipe will foul on fan - use a td05 j-pipe. this also depends on your cooler piping.... my j-pipe is flipped around anyway.
* probably have to do a little bit of modding to water lines. I just cut them and clamp on rubber hose to fit
* not sure if the oil feed will fit or not. I didn't have one on mine so got a braided one from gt pumps. works a treat
* your wastegate actuator might foul on engine/mount. I didn't experience this but have heard of it happening. I think you will have less chance of it
happening using a genuine mitsubishi turbo. bit of griding or re-locating actuator will fix this.

That's it from memory lol :)

oil feed turbo side is bigger best is to grab a braided line kit ~$30 from ebay. i also had to rotate the flange on my exhaust change the large thermo fan to a slim (coupe) and grind a heatsheil tab off the dump i later ran a relocation kit for the filter. it all fairly simple stuff and whats needed becomes very obvious once you start putting it all together.

oh and with the waste gate you have to grind/ cut the extra bolt hole off else it'll foul the block

yes it's me KHUBNER

I like the idea of relocating the oil filter. Saw that done one a car at the all jap show last weekend.

Another question or two.
Do you use the same wiring loom?
Does replacing the ECU affect anything else in the car?
Will I need to get it tuned once it's all bolted on or will it just run normally?

I would really like to get it dyno'd before and after to see what performance increase is gained. Are there any dyno places on the Gold Coast?

Same wiring loom
Depending on the ECU, you may need to rewire your thermo fans and prob the turbo light on your cluster
Anyway to tune the OEM ECU is if its chipped

What performance increase should I expect to gain with the 16g and an evo 3 ecu and injectors?
