Hi, would I notice any power difference if I swap my stock turbo (97RVR hsg) with a TD05HR off an evo 8?
3" all the way exhaust, 3" intake, new ecu in couple of days (QIK-427's ecu).

Thanks a lot guys......

^^ bingo!
yes, you would probably make a little more power. But they are far from a straight swap.... Better off going for something that suits early model evo's, will fit up much easier!

4-9 spin the wrong way! There's a big write up about it in 1 of the evo sections.

There's plenty of other things you can upgrade to make your car quicker than just bolting a turbo on!

Have you done cooler piping? Cams? What ECU are you going to run?

stock piping, stock cams i believe, chipped RVR ecu (boost cut removed, launch control at 5000rpm and some other things).
Got after market injectors not sure what they are (they're yellow)
3" intake
3" exhaust
putting a boost controller in 2 or 3 days (whats the max should i take it to?)
adjustable suspension
Apexi safc

ohh it is manual =)

Ohh, about the OBD2
I have a bluetooth OBD2 but it doesn't connect to the ecu, should I do the same as what you did with the OBD2 cable CLuTZ?

Thanks
