hello everybody i have recently got myself a ca lancer 1990 modle and took out the sohc engine and put a cb gsr dohc engine from a 3 door in it the thing flys it has extractors and 2inch sports exhaust i think the engine has better cams too it idols lumpy as but now im havin problems with braking i have changed hubs to gsr with slotted roters and gsr calipers and still not good and now it seems like the passenger side is stayin on a little bit i also got a bigger master cylinder i havent changed the booster yet i was thinkin a brake controler will fix it any ideas

jack the front up and see if 1 wheel is dragging. it is the deformed square profile of the rubber seals inside the caliper that pull the pads back. these are maintenance free. however there are caliper slides on 1 and 2 pot calipers. these slides need to be kept clean and lightly lubed. a siezed slide is the most common reason for brakes dragging. only other reason is if you run willwoods ar similar without dust boots that can allow the pistons to sieze

yea i fixed it but my roter is now warped oh well i think its time for some new wheel bearings and roters
plus i found that the calipers were loose both sides from where they bolt on gee luck i looked
