My wife had recently driven a friends xr6t and was on my back to get one so a deal was made I would sell my car to help pay for hers but I got a go kart out of the deal. When I saw my car driving off down the road (by a tosser who knew nothing about a car like this) I knew I had made the wrong decision.
To make a long story short 7 months later I saw it for sale on gumtree so I tried to call him but no answer. Thats when I asked a mate to give him a call and he picked up. He helped me buy the car back ( for a LOT less) and I got to work fixing what the dickhead had stuffed up. Unfortunately I dropped a valve about 6 weeks after i got it back.
So that brings me to now about 18 months since I destroyed the motor.I have done a fair bit of work since then and I think Im about 2 weeks from starting it again.
heres a list of what Ive done
engine
cp pistons
h beam rods
removed balance shafts
arp head bolts
metal head gasket
ferrea 1mm os valves
bc spings and retainers
kelford 272s
fidanza adj cam gears
perf metalworks smim
80mm throttle body
garrett gt3082 with 1.06 rear housing
tial 38mm wg
1000cc injectors
bosch 044 pump
Driveline
fidanza flywheel
ACT sprung button clutch with 2600lb pressure plate
evo 3 box with viscous front diff
4 bolt rear diff
So its all worked out well Ive got my car back and Ive still got my go kart lol missus thinks shes been ripped off. The only dilema Ive got now is do I keep the gt30 or buy a HTA3586.
Ill get some pics up soon
thanks
Brad

Response - .63
Power - 1.06
Balance - .82
This is on a 2.4L I am assuming?
I've had all 3 but never ran the 1.06.
I can tell you the .63 and .82 is noticable.
The best combo I've enjoyed is definately the GT30 .82 setup with the close ratio box.
