just wanna know if any guys here have had luck with any internal antennas? want to shave off the antenna off the roof and put in a hidden one in.

there is a kit that turns your rear demisters into an antenna that used to work fairly well...

thats awesome. but ive got tint on the back, but i read that mess with the signal? ive seen the ones supercheap sell that you just stick on your windscreen on roof.. but apparently its pretty average.

Mate,

Antenna's are one of those fiddly things that you can have either two types:
  • Standard Wide Frequency AM/FM - Stock car antenna, should be possible to get a discreet antenna of this type, they work ok, but still, they can be an absolute pain in the @$$ sometimes when signal is weak or interfered
  • Narrow Frequency (or gained) antenna - Is an antenna where if your station is normally 92.3 FM then they make the antenna directly to 92.3 FM, anything else would come through shit.
Have you considered hiding the antenna, say, behind the front or rear bumper? This way it won't get interferance from the metal componants as much as being inside the cabin, but it will, for all intents, vanish.
