Can anyone shoot me a link or part number for an install kit for a 255 into a vr4?

I couldn't find a kit, and used a short length of fuel hose as the outlet seal when I put mine in. It slowly drains the fuel in the lines and takes a bit to start after its been sitting.

The Walbro kit I got came with only a piece of fuel hose as well (as well as the intake fuel strainer, a foam sleave, wire pigtail and cable tie). I have fuel draining back too, but I thought it was the new FPR that went in as well at the same time.

I didn't think that a Walbro could fit into a standard fuel pump assembly, didn't look like it would have a chance from what I could make out.

This is the one I ordered - http://www.ebay.com....tm/170720895152

Huh? Are you talking about the output from the pump to the lines?? I'm pretty sure the pump came with the seal to fit it up into the metal sleeve.. I've not had any issues with draining and car kicks over first time. I thought the pump came with the strainer, seals etc and the fitting kit had the foam sleeve, wire adapter etc ?

Anyway, there's a thread around here or on galantvr4.org.au about fake walbro's that I'm pretty sure lists the correct pump and install kit numbers.

there's already a few forums for girls and sissys-

Yeah, pump to hanger assembly/fuel line.
I think my kit was for something else and the seal didn't fit, or I just didnt get one.

I'll have a poke around on that site and see what I can find.

Thanks brooo

My vr4 is currently off the road, so I have been willing to look at the little shit bits like this.
I put the stock pump setup back in, and BOOM! . . . not fixed.

checked some things and diagnosed it as the fuel pressure regulator. Which is very annoying, considering the reg was like a month old when this started happening.

Did a bit off googling, found some info on evolutionM, and it looks like this is common for the "compact" Aeromotive regulators.

Very disappointing when you spend good money on a "good" brand, and have troubles like this. Especially since its been like this for about a year, and I have completely ignored the regulator as a problem, because it was a new Aeromotive, and there is no way it would be malfunctioning. . . .

Lesson learned. Hopefully I can fix it

How much time do you spend in a parking lot with your performance car? If you do a lot of parking lot driving, and hang out in parking lots, chances are you are a ricer, go home and read import tuner. If you’re complaining about noise you should not be modifying your car. You should also consider no longer being a man, please hand in your genitals at the door.

Didn't notice the word compact. I use the bigger model.

Mine is actually different to the one pictured at the start of that thread. I dont know the model number, its a small unit, but has 4 rail-pressure ports. Definately not sealing very well. I had multiple attempts at re-cutting the seat but haven't got any improvement out of it. Not really sure what else I can do with it at this stage.

However, I'm like an f1 pit crew pulling it off now. . Is that you "life-purpose" ?

No, you want the GSS342. It's a straight bolt in.
