Hi,

If anybody from NZ (specifically Wellington) can help, I'm wanting to purchase these from Trademe and have them sent over to Brisbane. It seems as though the few guys that were doing this stuff no longer do it.

PM me if you can help.

Thanks

Just a heads up,

If you do purchase from NZ make sure you do as much research as possible on shipping costs, port charges and customs clearance fees once it enters Australia. I recently had front and rear bars for my VR4 shipped over from NZ and payed over $1300 in port and customs fees in Brisbane before they were released to me. It was a learning experience and won't make that mistake again.

Sounds like you got ripped off mate. I brought some Recaro's over via a broker, cost me $350 from memory

Also, turboalfa... why would you want RS doors?

I'm after some RS doors for my VR4 tarmac rally car.

Little bit lighter and the look I'm after.

Thanks

It was a financial disaster to say the least. Bars cost me $400AUD and payed the guy $367AUD shipping to my work in Brisbane. He used Evans International and said thats all I had to pay. I received a phone call from Evans International when they arrived at the wharf. They sent me an invoice for $252 AUD for Brisbane Port charges. I then was told I couldn't do Customs clearance myself as they were used car parts and needed quarantine and a customs officer to give clearance before being released to me. I confirmed this with Customs myself. ACP invoiced me $1060AUD inc GST for the bars to be cleared and released me me. They then wanted to charge me $220 delivery to my work. I politely declined and picked up myself
