Exeddy clutch? Such a common occurrence!
Well it can't be that common if its taken about 4 years worth of use and mainly abuse it's about 5 or 6yr old, so it's done exceptionally well.
Will be replacing with another exedy unit, no more 5 puck, will have a heavy duty cushion button

The other week put the car on the dyno just to be able to keep a good eye on the AFRs and make sure everything was alright prior to finally being able to race it.
Things didn't go to plan...
First run, stopped a bit early due to car moving
www.youtube.com/embed/nUaNhRt05Vg
Second run, stopped even earlier, as you will see why.
www.youtube.com/embed/H23nZL3VfK0
So the first run didn't have any smoke out of the rear, but the next run, it ate shit, pumped some smoke out the arse, spat the dipstick and some oil out the tube. Also the dyno operator didn't realize the screamer pipe and you can see in the video it actually melted the strap which resulted in it snapping as well, we called it a day, trailered it home tail between legs style.
The weird thing for me, was the compression test.
- 10 psi
- 120 psi
- 120 psi
- 90 psi
Pulled the motor out, started pulling it all down to survey the damage, and yeah, not good, it appears Cyl 1 was detonating..HARD, and Cyl 4 had some signs of it as well, yet 2 and 3 were fine, zero visible damage.
So yeah, can be rebuilt with some boring of the stock block and fitting oversized pistons, but i honestly CBF'd, i've stripped all go fast goodies off the car, handed in the rego plates and it's going to the scrap yard shortly. Guttered
Any ideas as to why only 1 and 4 copped the dick and yet 2 and 3 are perfect??
This is all that is worth keeping so far... Sad panda
Will go thru all the bits and pieces and make a list of whats there and then figure out what's for sale and what i'll hold on to.
