Still haven't laid the slipper into it yet, had to do some adjustments on the safc was big ergh ergh, and the exhaust hits, minor issues and easy enough to fix
Blew a hose off, no biggy

Need to see if there is a factory hyundai hubcap to suit 15s because i would like the larger diameter, and hopefully a tad wider foot print as well.
Livin on the edge, double demerits and i drove it to work today... tempting fate i know but it had to be done.

I did notice that it seems to hit a rev cut/fuel cut, thought id get my air temp and afm reset wired as well as chuck in the knock sensor which was long over due. Sadly this has not rectify the issue, checked the plugs which were all in good order as well.
Its kinda got me fucked as the only read out i have for rpm is my safc, according to the max rpm i reached was a mere 3350rpm?!?!! It don't feel like it, but it certainly don't feel like 7200rpm either so im pretty puzzled by that, only leaving me to get the ostrich installed, load up this same map and see if i can log the issue on the laptop.
It reaches boost and holds boost but.it certainly doesn't feel as quick as the old cc coupe or the cb which had same engine box combo. Anyway check the vid you will hear it hit cut and the speedo isn't moving as fast as i wanted.
Any thoughts from the video and the limited information i have given???

I would keep the hubcaps too , or buy cheap looking 16s and run semi slicks

So when i was putting the rocker cover back on, noticed a worrying sign, CV grease... Looked like either A) the stainless steel zip tie broke after 100km, or hey didn't put one on it to begin with.Either way not cool, but what was worse, when i was under the car i noticed one of the lower ball joints, had one of two nuts MISSING!!! Not only that the other one was loose which would explain the knocking in the front end, thought it would be worthwhile double checking the other side, surprise, loose.
Very far from impressed by driveshaft guys who made and installed them and didn't do these up, if left any longer who knows what could have happened, anyway double and triple checked everything in the front end, test drive confirmed that was the cause of the knocking.
On a positive note, i like the look of this, just need to give same TLC to the intake manifold.
